The 2" 975XLFDC Reduced Pressure Principle Assembly with Fire Hydrant Connections is utilized in high health hazard, non-potable installations for protection against both backsiphonage and backpressure of contaminated water into the potable water supply. Ideal for temporary construction water lines and fire hydrants where metering is not required, the 975XLFDC hose adapters allow for connection to a 2-1/2" fire hydrant inlet and 2-1/2" fire hose outlet. Features include full port QT ball valves, a maximum rated flow rate of 160 GPM, and a maximum intermittent flow rate of 250 GPM. Its cast bronze body and stainless steel internals resist corrosion.
